halfway fat

I am terrible at taking (or allowing) belly photos but I admire those who are more diligent about it. I surmise this has a wee bit to do with how I feel about myself while pregnant. But, one shouldn't whine, eh?

A friend of mine took silhouette pictures of her full body ~naked~ at each month's mark. She actually showed them to both me and !!my husband!! and they were really gorgeous. This shot was forced, cropped & mutilated - making it worth sharing. I sure didn't catch the same effect that she did. Perhaps I should borrow her thighs for my next try.

We've reached the halfway mark. Actually, in theory, we've surpassed it. I will have to succumb a second C-section (Long story, but medical liability mandates it). So, 18 weeks to go!

This realization is a slap in the face as I've done nothing but read books lately. Best get off that rump and get a bedroom started!

That's a great photo -- not at all fat! Isn't it crazy how fast your belly grows the second time? Congrats on being halfway through... here's to continued good health for you and baby!

This is a very cool photo - very tasteful adn good looking. (= I never took any of me fat either... (=

I had to have 2 c-sections too and the second was a LOT easier!! Just follow all the rules adn don't lift too much or do too many stairs. You'll have to make adjustments with Kenzie so she can still feel cuddly with you - but, you can do it. (=

I guess I would be "full fat" at this point. Congrats on the progress. I found that I didn't get as big as fast the last 1/2 of this pregnancy. The photo is great and your little one will love looking back at it one day. I can't believe how quickly your pregnancy seems to be progressing unlike how I feel about mine. Guess it is all perspective. Enjoy the last half as much as possible!!

Hi Stacy! Thanks for visiting my blog! Congrats on the belly & the baby! You look great--I wish I had taken such artsy photos before I had my two wee girls!

The pumpkins look great too--my girls & I will be decorating their new freshly-picked-from-the-patch pumpkins tomorrow. And I, too, tend to make the bigger mess of us all!
